She'd originally intended to ask him something entirely different, but it seemed out of place now. She was a crabby person, someone who most people didn't get along with the first time they spoke with her, but she at least knew not to start demanding things while someone else needed their time to talk. ]

I don't know you very well, but that's what I know so far and if Blake used to love you, then you can't be that terrible of a person at your core, no matter what terrible things you've done in the past. Blake has better taste than that.

Just in case you do decide to forget something in the future, not that I'm endorsing it, you'll probably save yourself some trouble if you just open up an archway to somewhere instead of getting yourself killed.

I was going to leave it alone since you obviously aren't in the mood, and it doesn't have to be right now, but if Mercury is with the White Fang and I can't tell the rest of my team, I need to be able to fight well enough to make a difference if he does change his mind. It'll benefit you because you'll get to take some of your frustrations out on me because I don't expect you to go easy, as long as you don't kill me.
[he raised an eyebrow at that, looking a little confused. but... she did seem to really want that, and she went right to him of all people in order to get stronger. she had plenty of others she could ask- so he found it odd to confront him about this.

I'm going to school to become a huntress, I'm not going to have my life handed to me on a silver platter. If I can't handle everything you can put me through, I can't handle what I'll need to eventually. So I will manage- especially if I can't tell my team about Mercury.
